OK.Our annual trip to LAS VEGAS for the National Hobby Shop Owners Association convention is over and a GOOD time was had by all.

Fred and Lynn stayed at the South Point resort while Kim and Justin (her son) stayed at the Vegas Hilton. Let me tell you, the South Point was MUCH nicer and MUCH<MUCH cheaper.

The hottest new release was by TRAXXAS, their new brushless motor system is going to revolutionize the RC car market. We got to see them run and HOLY COW !!!! Talk about FAST.LOTS faster than ANY nitro.Initial price wont be real cheap but with performance like this, MANY of you will want them. Of course, we have them ordered and should get our shipment as soon as anyone in the country. After we returned from VEGAS, Lynn and I went to Florida and spent a few days on the beach with our son, Lee and that set of grandkids. Really had fun in the surf and sun. We returned through central Mississippi and went to the Pearl River Resort in Philadelphia, Miss. Beautiful Casinos very nicely done and cheaper than Vegas although my luck at the gambling tables wasn't any better. We came back to Birmingham, Alabama and toured the GOLDEN FLAKE potato chip factory. What a WONDERFUL tour, They take you completely through the plant and up close look at all the machines making chips and snacks. The taste of a potato chip fresh out of the cooker is UNREAL.....If you want any more information on this just contact me....I love to talk (obviously ).
